Arlette O’Rourke is a Retreat Chef and Wellness Culinary Specialist, blending evidence-based nutrition, Ayurvedic wisdom, and regenerative food practices to craft nourishing experiences for wellness retreats. With a background in sports nutrition, culinary arts, and baking and pastry — and current studies in Ayurvedic medicine, Arlette creates holistic meals designed to support healing, performance, and deep restoration. She specializes in vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and regenerative farm cuisine. Focusing on local, farm grown or foraged products. Her cuisine is rooted in science, inspired by the earth, and infused with intention.   

 

With over two decades of culinary experience. Arlette has worked at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, as well as 11 years at Indigenius Cuisine Catering. She holds an associate's degree in Culinary arts as well as advanced certifications in baking, sports nutrition, and holistic wellness. As well as a North American Certified Mushroom Forager.   Arlette received her Yoga 200 Hour TT in Nepal, and has traveled extensively in South America, Central America, and Asia. 

She is currently studying Ayurvedic Medicine at Maharishi University and has long specialized in plant-based cuisine, juicing, mushroom medicine, and seasonal nourishment.

Fluent in Spanish, grounded in science, and inspired by the sacredness of food, Arlette brings a unique fusion of expertise to every retreat she supports, bridging science with spirit to serve food as medicine. 

She is the owner of Elysian Fields park, a spiritual wellness center and venue outside of Charleston South Carolina, and the Founder of Sacred Grove a non-profit green burial preserve.
